KeexyBox celebrates its 1 year with the release of version 21.04.1!
KeexyBox 21.04.1 released!
The great novelty of this version is that it allows users to be connected to the Internet without using the captive portal. It also allows devices on the home network to be connected to the Internet without going through the tedious step of declaring in KeexyBox.
This makes KeexyBox easier for users to use.
To set it up, you will need to set the “Internet access conditions” to “None” in the Captive Portal configuration interface and assign the profile to be used for the default internet connection. The captive portal will nevertheless remain active so that a user can override the default connection profile of the home network with the parameters of the profile assigned to him. Depending on the settings of the assigned profile, this can, for example, enable access to the Tor network on the fly, or bypass internet access times for users who have an account.
The DHCP configuration has been reworked to allow it to be activated independently in the input and/or output network (2 independent network interfaces are required).
It is now possible to personalize the captive portal with a name and logo.
